The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role ensures product quality, maintains equipment, and follows safety and production standards.
Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, or multi-axis equipment
Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Make minor adjustments to machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency
Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine malfunctions to maintenance
Conduct routine machine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in CNC machining is a plus.
Basic understanding of CNC machines, their components, and operating principles.
1–3 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with machine tools and measuring instruments.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and CNC programs.
Basic mathematical skills for calculations and measurements.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in performing tasks.
Mechanical aptitude and dexterity to handle tools, materials, and machine controls.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot common machine issues.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
Flexibility to work different shifts or extended hours as needed.

Pay rate is $17-18 pay is based on experience level.
