A local manufacturing facility in the Girard area is seeking a Mold Setter to support its injection molding operations. This position involves setting up and changing molds, preparing machines for production, and ensuring smooth and efficient operation throughout the shift. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently.
Install and remove plastic injection molds on molding machines
Ensure proper alignment, clamping, and connections during mold changes
Complete mold change documentation and verify accuracy
Perform visual inspections on molds and machines before and after setup
Use hoists, cranes, and forklifts to safely move molds and related equipment
Assist with machine startups and troubleshoot setup/related issues
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
Prior experience in mold setting or plastic injection required
Ability to read and follow work instructions and setup sheets
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production equipment
Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and hoists
Good communication, time management, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols
Full Time
Pay Rate is $18-22 per hour BOE
