A local Erie company is looking for an Injection Mold Change Technician to support its plastic manufacturing operations. This position involves changing molds on machines, keeping equipment clean and organized, and helping ensure smooth production flow. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
Remove and install molds and equipment using hand and power tools
Complete daily setup checklists and submit quality checks
Clean and return molds to the Tool Room after use
Clear machines of leftover parts, scrap, and materials
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Assist with production changeovers and machine readiness
Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes
Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
Strong time management and communication skills
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
Must bring own tools
Must be able to read and write in English; basic math and computer skills required
Prior injection molding or plastics experience preferred
Full Time
Pay Rate is $18-22 per hour DOE and shift
1st and 2nd Shift
